A Word500 alternative
If you enjoy Word500, Letra Secreta gives you the same idea of deducing the word from three counters, plus duels with friends, unlimited practice and an archive. In English and Spanish.
What they have in common
In both games you guess a secret 5-letter word. After each guess you see how many letters are in the right spot (green), how many are in the word but elsewhere (yellow) and how many aren't in it (red).
Neither tells you which letters those are: you deduce it by cross-checking your guesses. That's why it feels more like a logic puzzle than a guessing game.
What you'll find in Letra Secreta
- A new word every day, the same for everyone, plus unlimited practice and an archive to play the days you missed.
- Duel: create a room, share the link and compete in real time with friends, as a race or over several rounds.
- Classic: if you prefer each letter to get a color, that version is here too, with its own daily word.
- Marks: tap any letter of your guesses to note your deductions (ruled out, elsewhere or in place).
- You vs the world: when you finish, see how you did against everyone who played today's word.
- Also in Spanish, with its own word list (Ñ included).
- Free, no sign-up and nothing to download. Works on your phone and installs as an app.
Coming from Word500
You already know how to play: the counter logic is the same. Start with a word that covers common vowels and consonants, like SLATE or CRANE, and change one letter at a time to find out which letter moved a counter.
